Spurcat,
Seems to me, you're trying to be clever after the event....
==================
Well spotted.
This is what makes me laugh. I have had many a debate on here whereby certain posters feel we should have rested/rotated players like Bale, Parker, Modders & co. But when you actually ask in what games we should have rested 1, or all, of these - you get no response.
Nobody can foresee a hamstring pull. Your hamstring can feel 100% perfect before a game & before you know it...PING .
As Spurcat says, hindsight is obviously a wonderful thing, but lets not start blaming Harry for Mother Nature's input.
As for it being a cold night, football is played throughtout the winter months so what should we do, rest all our stars from say October to April (maybe even include May, just to be safe) just to stop them getting injured? Seriously, lets just take the rough with the smooth just like all clubs do with all their players - and stop blaming Harry for things that are out of his control, like the cold weather for instance.

firstly it was me who said hindsight is a wonderful thing.
and secondly i qualified my reason for selecting lennon in that i didnt think bale would be fit.. but felt it necessary to have at least one wing man or run the risk of being unable to break them down - thus the risk of playing lennon so soon after the united game was worth taking.
you will notice that my line up didnt feature bale...
bale being fit, made the decision to then risk lennon baffling..

Sorry Thudd, had to just finish of a design. So, oh yeah, Lidl is VERY underrated I tell you, their Mussels in white white are lovely, oh, and its a weekly shop of course
Lidl are good for pizzas too. E-Fredo's (or something like that), 2 for £2.99. Absolute bargain. Perfect for when you come in half cut ..with the munchies - pop them in the oven for 12 mins & vwala............

+1.
Always the danger.
And speedboat players do seem to need a more measured comeback.
Didn't see the game : how was VDV fitness wise ??
