We need a new way of calculating results as this seems a little too subjective to me.

0-0.5 goes down 0.6 and above goes up
You were 0.5 they were 0.75 = 0-1
Because it depends on how many goals you conceded. We work it out as an average and yours could have been something like 1.4 and the Athletico's 1.5 and you round it up to 2 so they win 2-1. All because someone predicted 1 loss.
Not going to lie, I really do not agree with that system.

3 draws say everyone predicts 1-1 and that 1 defeat could have been 3-1 to Athletico so as we work out an average Athletico's could have been 0.6 which rounds it up to 2 so that is why you could have lost.

I'd simply have use the same system with a rule that there must be a certain difference between the two avergae values.
As otherwise predos don't really work. As it doesn't capture the majority.

Not really because if there is an equal average then it will finish a draw and if there is a small difference depending on how small the difference is the result could finish the same or it could be 0.5 or above and that could be the difference.

maybe each win u get an extra goal favored towards you? ... if you used that system from the start then you can't change it...cause then gameweek 1 and 2 will probably have different results so maybe we gotta stick with the 0.6 goes up...anything underneath goes down. - i know its unfair on fred cause he has a case here...
