KL just picked everyone who he knew was weaker than him in that verse. Think he threw JCole because it'll make for a more interesting collab album.

i dont like lamar he's albums alright, beats are boring as f88k. Think the album is too hyped by the internet tho. The only decent track is the one with MC Eiht wouldn't mind a collabo album by them tho if the beats were done right.

Disagree with that. For starters he included the 2 rappers on the track, Jay Electronica and Big Sean. Also mac miller and ASAP Rocky all have been working closely with Black Hippy (miller has been on tour with them, rocky has worked with them on many projects etc)
The ones mentioned arent the ones being dissed. They are the ones he sees as his competition.

That song you're referring to, Maad city, is one of my faves on the album. That said I overall disagree, I love both Section 80 and good kid, barely a song on either which isn't good.

Also, benny, who could he have called out other than those really? Kendrick is better than any up and coming rapper, period

It is funny that the rappers who I have seen "go at" K.Dot thus far are two members of Slaughterhouse (Joell and Buddens), a group that shares his label, plus Pusha T, who is a label mate of Big Sean, whose track it is... coincidence? Contrived? $$$$?

Benny, pretty much yes.

Most of the anger seems to come from the "king of NY" statement rather than what he said about named rappers.

Aus, just because you dont like them doesnt change from the fact they are the biggest new rappers around. They are the ones selling big in the US.

Hearing Em's new single has officially got me scared he is just doing a rock album like Wayne

I'm hoping that Kendrick's verse will inspire some actual bars being written. I don't want to hear jack about how much money these hip hop artists have, or that they pop Molly.

I must say though, that despite my criticism of the lyrics, the 'Tom 'Ford' beat is pure fire.

Analog, not a fan of Tyler the Creator at all, but got Doris on the back of RZA being on a track. Liking it so far.
Got A$AP Ferg's album as well, yet to listen to it yet tho.

RZA seems to be spreading outside the WU a bit more these days.
