you don't like Born Sinner?

Where did i say that, Fiddy?
I said it is hard to get past the track that samples OutKast cos it makes me want to listen to OutKast instead.

Now I want to listen to Biggie cos I got to track 20

Oh seeeeeeeeen! What would you rate the album though? I've only listened to about 5 tracks so far, they all seem pretty good.

Only just listened to it all the way through. Nice that it pays respect to the mid 90s a lot, but nothing really stood out as a major track for me. 7/10 for first listen.

I get hints if animosity towards Jay Z tho... that could be one to look out for.

Interesting...

They never really feature a lot on each other's songs do they? Other than A Star is Born, which I liked.

Mind you there are other songs where J.Cole has sung his praises.

Yeah, obviously Cole cannot say too much about his boss, but you would expect Jigga to big up his main man a bit more.
It may just be like KanYe spoke about on Big Brother.

All of the songs are good, I just don't think they're any standouts like in 1999

Anyone else think Joey's delivery's poor for the majority of Summer Knights?

posted on 2/7/13

He is probably saving his best for the official album...

posted on 2/7/13

I'm not sure its that as the lyrics are still good is just the way hes delivering it, sounds a lot more forced and personally I'm not feeling it. Listen to this and you'll see what I mean.

He has to change his style up a bit on some songs, he can't just stay the same. He still keeps his more relaxed flows on some of the songs. Also his voice seems to have changed since 1999, has his voice dropped or something?

I have no problem with an emcee changing up his style a bit on some songs or even on the majorty of a mixtape when your new style pretty much forgets about flow which for me is one of if not the most important attribute for an emcee I'm gonna be a little dissappointed. I still liked Summer Knights and even with his new direction as far as spitting goes Joey's still better than 90% of the game.

I like 95 til infinity, but it certainly aint his best.

Is She Gone Pop from Born Sinner. Really reminds me of Good Game from The Warm Up:
