Here'e a good album:
Mylo Xyloto by Coldplay
I kinda like 50 Cent, I think he's got tremendous talent, but to survive in this industry you really do need a catchy beat. It's a shame. Nelly is well, they all have the ability to be top MC, but they have to adapt. Just my take
R&B I don't really do. Jodeci, Montell Jordan, D'Angelo and R Kelly is about all I listen to in R&B terms. The only stuff I have bought recently is Ne-Yo and Trey Songz, but rarely listen to either.
Dog Walker,
Coldplay really isn't my sort of music.
Stone Roses, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, QOTSA, Guns N Roses, RHCP and a few others are all I do in terms of guitar music.

I don't really buy many albums tbh. The only albums I consistently buy are the Kasabian albums, good band.
Nate Dogg was a master, one of the best hook singers in Hip history
Nate Dogg
Regulate was the first rap song I got into, it all started from there...
50 cent is not that bad at least he is one of the few trying to keep hip hop as real as he can.
but young money are trying to sell as much as they can, Lil Wayne wears skinny jeans and he claims to be gangsta .
Eminem, K'naan are the only rappers I listen to.
"Nate Dogg was a master, one of the best hook singers in Hip history"
Not one of, THE best
Regulate, what a superb song.......still one of my favourites...........
50 Cent is fking terrible. His first album was good, all went down hill after that. Eminem is the best by a mile and he's barely around anymore. The Game is good, too, Jay-Z is alright, the rest are crap really.
Even Snoop sold out which is really sad.
Marshall Mathers LP is possibly one of the best hip hop albums of all time, don't care what anyone says.....eminem is a lyrical genius.......saw him in concert at the milton keys bowl......He's not as good as he used to be though, shame
yeh i agree about snoop, he sold out and went way to "pop" and mainstream, when he was at death row he was awesome........ " ain't nothing but a G thang Baby!!!!! "
I just wish they would go back to albums having either no guest appearances or only relevant guest appearances. Now it seems every track on an album has guests on it.
It started with Nate, everyone who wanted a single got Nate on the album. Then the likes of Pharrell took over, now every album seems to have the same rappers/singers on them and they all turn out pretty much carbon copies of each other.
Illmatic famously had only AZ on it, Death Rows albums had just Dogg Pound on them, Wu Tang was just Wu Tang, etc.
Don I saw him not last Summer but the Summer before at Oxegen music festival and he was unbelievably good. I've been to a lot of concerts but I never saw anything like that, he was unbelievable. I'd love to see him again live.
Eminem's definitely the best rapper. Still prefer alternative music.
I really don't like Eminem, dunno why I just don't!
I've always preferred British artists over the American counterparts ever since Tupac (and hip-hop imo) died.
who remembers the Nas and Jay z feud I have always been a much bigger Nas fan than Jay z, i got all of Nas albums.......

amazing mate ain't he.......i saw the anger management tour......D12, Cyprus hill etc guest appearence aswell
I forgot about Nas, he's one of the few actual hip hop artists left but even he hasn't been around for a while. T.I is good, too.
Yeah, agreed. Eminem one of the greatest ever, such a shame alot of people think he's just popular because he's white. Him and Royce are two lyrical beasts. And renegade by Em & Jay one of my favourite ever hip hop records.
I quite like some Kanye West as well.
Have any of you heard Busta Rhymes? He's absolutely mental!
