Slaughterhouse are the best thing on Shady/Aftermath records.

Slaugherhouse are quality

But they'll be the first to say Eminem is king.

Royce wasn't saying that 5 years ago

Liked the Bad Meets Evil album as well.

Eminem does what he does very well. The funny rap poking fun at random pop stars (My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, Without Me) followed by the personal insight (Just Dont Give..., The Way I Am, Cleaning Out My Closet) followed by concept song (Guilty Conscience, Stan, Ass Like That).

He does have consistancy that most other rappers don't have (Ghostface Killah apart).

Yeah, I think it was on 'Lighters', on the EP where Royce said he can deal with being 2nd best.

I've listened to alot of Royce recently, really didn't know just how good he is. Like 'Part of me' is some freakily good story telling. He feels more typically hip hop than Eminem, less shock-appeal.

But what you said about Eminem is true, but I just feel he has the whole package, story-telling, word play, emotion. The ability to jump on any subject and kill it. Songs like 'Stan', 'Til I collapse, 'Murder Murder', and my favorite song of his 'Infinite'.

It was a shame he got hooked on drugs and made 'Encore'. But the new Eminem, in terms of abililty on the mic, is twice as good.
