I do like Lost Boyz that song is quality.
Their second album was okay (Love Peace and Nappiness) not as good as debut. Then Freaky Tah (the "hypeman" got shot and the 3rd album was terrible. Mr Cheeks did a solo album that had a couple of club hits on it...

THINK I HAD 'UP IN SMOKE' ON VHS.....
Just noticed I have a "Puff Puff Pass" concert DVD as well, cannot even remember that!!
The Up In Smoke one has Dre, Snoop, Ice Cube and Eminem.
This is a class live performance, imo...

Death Row at its best.
Used to love hip hop etc back in the day of death row etc and even Eminem/50 Cent were fantastic and for me were the last in line before hip hop became sh it and way to pop like. Don't ge me wrong i don't mind the odd pop song but it should never be associated with hip hop and i think todays standard of hip hop is awful. Nothing will beat the old style Snoop, 2pac, Biggie, Nate dogg, Ice cube etc etc
2pac is sensational.
DJ - Already learnt Walk this Way when i was about 15
Who posted Horace Brown on here?
Great beat on that
Mr Cheeks and Ho' Brown...
Horace Brown with the Party And Bullshít beat...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCTB2-7vF6Y
The only version of Party and bullsh/t I know is the one with Miley Cyrus
Going back to Cali has such a pounding beat
What about Rita Ora?

Watching the "Up In Smoke" tour now...Eminem performance at moment.
R.I.P. Proof...
Just the rapper, hypeman and DJ on stage, how it should be.

Watched it the other night, snoop and dre were hilarious
Em was obvi the best though, so much anger and energy

Hip Hop these days is still incredible, just got too many people living in the past.
I thought you were asking Hip Hop to rise!
Hip Hop is getting reborn. Black Hippy, Joey Bada$$/Pro Era etc are taking it back to the streets.
Im still not convinced.... I hope it does, but even the legends have gone pooop!
Rather than mixing old and fresh, they have either stuck in the past or have gone for the silly new sounds!

Nobody understands me, not even my family
Most important man on the planet, still they ban me
Instead of giving praises and revealing a Grammy
They'd rather see me stressed out, concealing my jammy
Hoping, I got smoked out and broke like Sammy
Spent the wheel of fortune then get struck wit a whammy
Never that, black, I got my act together
How can hip hop be dead when Wu-Tang is forever?

I cant see youtube vids at work
Just read the lyrics, last line especially
(It isn't a great track anyway, chorus is horrible.. but the last line is relevant..)
Yes I respect the statement, but I even listened to a meth album recenty and not even one half decent track....
Nas is flat
Snoop was doing half decent until he went all Bob Marley
Dre is delaying everything until he is 70
The Game, 50, Banks, xhibit, Pappose... Where are they?
Lil wayne was sick once upon a time!
All these guys have it in them to create at least one good last album, but they are all far from it
