Do you hear anyone moaning that the Understand fans chanted 'Phil Neville is a w anker' for 70 mins.
Do you think he even cares !

Nothing in writing as the media don't talk about Utd fans.
I know a guy on twitter who works at Wolves ground and he saw it all. I take his word for it as he is a Utd fan.

I know a guy who knows a guy who said that 273 Liverpool fans were arrested yesterday.
7 for racist comments, 6 for horrendous fashion sense and 2 for making love on the penalty sport during the second half.
t bone has got to be the worst. this 'bloke' on twitter, who is it phil thompson?
2 for making love on the penalty sport during the second half.

If I try anything in the "penalty spot" I get a slap
Red. just happy i kept true Liverpool fans from getting a home seat
there's just no point in debating with some of the liverpool posters on here. some are sound but some just have a huge chip on their shoulder and a built in victim mentality, even when they know they're wrong.

I'm going to deliberately avoid the Suarez-Evra thing but it's an interesting question being posed I think.
Reading through here it seems that nobody likes their players/manager having to take abuse and there are obvious examples which have already been raised where it goes way over the top. Yet it appears to be an accepted part of the game.
Someone (Ole maybe?) raised a point about it being part of the atmosphere, would people like to see the FA attempt to do something about this? There could be all sorts of punishments, e.g. fine, playing games behind closed doors, no away fans etc. Or is this genuinely just part of the game we have to accept?
This is the problem with allowing an institution like the FA, to deal with matters as serious as these.
They deliver a verdict, which basically said, 'Yeah, he probably was being a bit racist, we cant prove it properly, but probably maybe'.
This in turn obviously suits fans of certain clubs and the media in general, who before the Saurez case were forever calling the FA a joke and a laughing stock.
Then, almost overnight, the same FA, became the most respect standard bearer of justice in this country.
An institution to be proud of, who acted in a fair and measured manner, through this whole case.

You just can't have a reasonable debate here with mancs and bitters as whenever you make a good point they bang on about how we apparently built a victim mentality
Hypocritical!
ole
what about the united fan that was arrested that was arrested against stoke??? no media coverage
jloo -
He admitted it btw.
i think you've missed the point fred, as usual. i was merley pointing out that beckham had to put up with much worse and that it actually brought out the best in him, and that some of the liverpool posters on here like t bone, are like men with a fork, in a world of soup.

People say it because it's true, you've got 5 pounds of King Eddies on each shoulder. You lot could moan for England.
Good to see the OP is in no danger of balancing his 18 articles and 10 comments on this thread.
I could almost be forgiven in thinking this article was created just to give us a moderation workload?
norwegian heart, it was in the manchester evening news, and all local radio and tv news. hope this helps.
just seen TB crying above, haven't read any of the comments but presume he is just well and truely peed off at being a blue nose

Ey now come on, you paid for that seat which means lfc are no better off. On the other hand the lfc fan that couldve had it couldn't spend that £40.
Thereby robbed of that match experience, that supporter might well go to another match instead (one where there might've been an empty seat)
So...
You either made a red 40 quid richer or gave lfc a bit extra
Either way... Thanks Fella!

nothing national though eh...?? not like our lad being the first story on the national (not sports) news...
who has now dropped the case BTW
oh and im not talking about suarez....
Ole_1999, I am totally devoid of any chip on either shoulder, I wouldn't know how to go about acquiring a 'victim mentality' but clearly, if I ever harbour the desire to sober myself with one, I'll come knocking on you door pal
Sorry, that should read "shower" and not "sober" JimmyTheRed
