i am enjoying this thread, but for the severalth time, i have got a bit lost.

Could you clarify what allegation Spurios has made ?

Also - as I am interested in the quiz - I would be grateful if you could confirm whether you are suggesting that the entities/individuals which you have listed did want west ham to have the athletics stadium, or did not want west ham to have the athletics stadium.

I hope thatthese questions isn't cheating in any way as i do not want to get disqualified from the quiz.

How about this for a theory? The OPLC have this fixation with keeping the track and wetspam are the only football club in the world stupid enough to accept that condition and its fatal flaw. Boris and the Govt are unlikely to flout the OPLC misguided wishes so anything for a quiet life and so that they are not implicated in the destruction of an ill-conceived and already publicy funded monolith to bureaucracy (just like the dome was) they go along with it even though its doesn't make financial or football sense. They don't care because they aren't paying for it. The tax payers (national and local) are and will be for generations.

Meanwhile wetspam tick all the boxes just so they can save themselves a fortune. Spurs on the other hand would have used their own money to a majority extent and provided a proper football stadium while still pandering to the athletics fraternity. Thats not good enough for Coe and Co as they want to be remembered but don't realise they will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. But they too don't care as its not their money either. I won't even start with Newham who surprisingly are also very free with money that isn't theirs.
