I was a young lad in Derbyshire when I discovered football. It came in the shape of an older lad a few doors down.
He showed me a football and his mum gave me his old Spurs shirt to wear. I wore it as we watched Italia 90 and then the FA Cup run of 91.
Thorsvedt. Mabbutt. Gazza. Lineker.
I never looked back.
