It was a red but I really take issue with having such senior refs in var. it just means the on field ref will never go against someone that experienced, regardless of whether it’s right or not. Var should be independent from the referees body.

Was the panic after his awful first touch which meant he lost control. So yea, casual initially then panicked to try and make up for it.
