Well, we’ll, well!

I'd like to be kind and think all this nonsense is just fickleness but I suspect it is actual stupidity.

I could see a combo of Nat Phillips and Fabinho being used as the cover for centre back that Lovren provided, with whatever money we have being prioritised elsewhere.

Perhaps Larouci or Adam Lewis will get a few minutes at left back too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Larouci is leaving apparently as he contract is up, wants first team football

The owners are and have been milking the sheite out of the club, simple as that. But together with Klopp theyve brought huge success. And besides its a lot better than being on the brink of administration. So we can’t really moan. Or can we? Should we be? Can see why some do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They've been milking the club? In what way? They haven't taken a penny from the club. They inherited a club on its knees with interest payments of £350k per week! Now look at it. It is in their best interest for the club to do well, hence why they've added a billion to the value of the club, through their success. When they feel the time is right, they'll sell for a huge profit.

You don't half talk some absolute smack. You can't just make stuff up ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I’d love to know where he gets this stuff from. Got to be either Twitter or his head....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its simple the, theyll have made a killing from the club by the time they sell. The club makes way more than they put back into it, so wheres it going? Its a profit making machine and theyre milking it. Dno whats so hard to understand about that? I never said it was a bad thing its just what it is. As businessmen its what you want. But as a football club they could easily reinvest more of it back into the squad than they have been. And that was the initial point.

No great loss. He was OK against Everton but looked poor in both Shrewsbury games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's definitely not gonna be a left back.

You've given no indication how they're 'milking it', so it is without doubt very difficult to understand. So by milking it, you mean they've taken the club on, built it up, achieved huge success, increasing the value of the club and they'll sell for a huge profit? That's milking it? Wise up.

The club made £46m pre-tax profit last year. They're spending around £50m on the training ground and £60m on the Annie Road end, to increase capacity to over 60k.

You think they're taking the profits out of the club for themselves? All £46m of it? That's pocket change to them.

The things they are doing at the club will mean it will be an an outstanding position for years to come, even if they sell, building the infrastructure and purchasing players, which has enabled the club to become English, European and World champions.

This is not milking the club, this is building the club.

I get that, maybe milking it was the wrong term. Didnt say it s a bad thing, as i said businessmen aim is to make a killing. But as a football club with our recent success and size with an average 14 m net spend for 5 years or so, i dont believe its all gone into squad bonuses lol. Though id like to see it if it has. Yeah the stadium expansions great and it clearly paid for itself despite then telling us inc ticket was needed. They loaned us interest free for it. But ultimately it pays for itself and adda value to their business when they sell it. Training ground will too.

I like and appreciate them as owners, theyve tried some bs over the years and got it horribly wrong until klopp came in too, but im thankful for them. And as i said ultimately if Klopps happy im happy.

You are not allowed to question the owners without the FSG defense league getting offended. It is the owners job to ensure to ensure we are upto date with premises development. They are doing that, taken a while but well done. Annie road work is now postponed so let's see when that kicks off.

In terms of investing in the squad that is where you can question them. Not been enough but thankfully the manager has worked wonders so far.

Not been enough? Is there a different trophy you want to win? The universe Cup or something?

I think we can get one big signing in this window if Klopp wants. Already 11m for Lovren, Clyne n Lallanas wages off the books. Harry Wilson, Shaqiri, Grujic possible sales. Might even get some money for Karius

What was the origi thing about too people thinking he was saying goodbye? Brewster might be snapped up too.

So i looked up the Larouci thing, leeds and brentford sniffing, one year left, apparently he wants first team football. Could still tie him down to a new contract and get him a loan. But might cash in on him with a cut price deal. If leeds/bielsa are interested, probably some talent.

1 year left means he's a goner. We probably didn't offer him a deal because Klopp is not sure of him.

Or the owners are being too tight. Probably offered him some Haribo and a 6 pack of vimto
