It doesn't look as though becks will be in a leicester shirt for much longer after another bust up with the manager. Does anyone think it would be at all possible for him to make the switch back to leeds? I am aware that leicester bought him for 4 million from everton however if he wanted to come back to us bad enough maybe some deal could be worked out. Would be brill to see him in partnership with becchio again. Having beckford back & smudger back would help us enormously. One can always hope.

We shouldn't forget, most of our top players that left have gone to the Prem!..
It doesn't matter how big or small we may think a Premier team is, its the League that pulls them not the teams!..
And Beckford could have gone sooner if the club wanted to cash in, but Grayson wanted him to finish the job in hand, another one of Graysons faults I suppose, if he'd let him go we would have got something for him, but at the same time we might not have gone up, so credit to both, Grayson on making him stay and Beckford for doing what was wanted of him!.
Eric, I'm sure Warnock would be more then a match for him!..
I only asked could he handle Warnock, because I have a feeling sulking isn't high on Warnocks favourits list!..

Germany - from January - April of Beckford's final season he was totally disappointing, scored very few, went missing in games and pouted almost throughout.
That is my lasting impression.

That's very true JLA.
He was very disappointing in the run up to our promotion, his body language was awful.
I'm hoping Somma can be an important player for us once he's fully fit again.
Pity Grayson never seemed to give him a look in.

Jonny, but scored arguably the most important goal of his Leeds career in that time!..
He did what was asked of him, but coming back, I'd have to wonder if his time at Everton has taught him anything, and if he's sorted his temper!..
His attitude wasn't a team thing, and his fits/tandrums or whatever there called, they played more on the others minds then the teams we were playing, if thats sorted then ok, but not if it means the same old bust ups that seemed to be the norm when he was with us!..

"Jonny, but scored arguably the most important goal of his Leeds career in that time!.."
Which one was that?
What abut the other 20 games where we needed him to score?
Perhaps if he had scored in those games we would not have had to wait for the last day of the season.

Jonny, take a look at what I've been writing, you'll see I'm saying the same as I said when he played for us!..
Becchio was the reason he scored most of what he did for us, he sulks alot, unsettles the rest of the team, and if he was to come back,(which I cant see!)but if he was he'd have to have a good look at himself and hope the other players can sort his attitude out!..
I'm seeing what he did for us, and looking at what he did against, and thats where I'm having problems with the way things went when he was with us, more trouble in the dressing room then play on the pitch!..
I think Becchio is a better player then him, he scores goals and works for the team as well, and that to me is better then a player that thinks the whole team should do it for him!..

If Beckford wants to become a good footballer he should watch Messi how hard he works for the team!
