moderators if you could multiboard this that'd be great
but seriously there is no point in goal technology, it is only every blue moon there is controversy over whether the ball crossed the line or not, but almost every week now a game is completely marred by a bad refereeing call
It should be video evidence or nothing, as goal line tech will only help officials by such a small amount it will barely make a difference
plus isn't it hypocritical to not use video technology in the game, but use it after the game for retrospective punishments that the referee didn't call on, especially as they leave all of the bad referee calls out as he already 'dealt' with the situation
what is the point in goal line technology?

Because it is the easiest place to start with technology. Once it works, other ideas will be easier to get approved.

Probably not. I'm very tired.
Read it for me and sum it up in no more than 4 words.
