Goal one technology should be the minimum, it's a black and white decision. Before we move into video reviews of incidents during games this is the starting point, footballs hierarchy seem so resistant to change that any will come in small increments.
You're absolutely right, there haven't been many goal line calls this season, the only other one I can think of was QPR v Bolton. Most controversy occurs with offside decisions and penalty calls.
And how come the FA can retrospectively punish a player using video technology? But if a ref makes a wrong call, the FA won't touch it?

the fa can't, under current rules, 're-referee' anything. if the ref has seen it, then his decision is final. only things that havent been seen by the ref can be looked into later.
the rule is barking mad, but it's the rule, unfortunately.
It exists only to placate the fans, probably the English ones after THAT goal of Lampard's
Because it would be relatively cheap and easy to implement.
Because every other sport has included video technology which has, arguably, been an improvement.

If you take drugs, you're gonna have a bad time.
I don't know. Ewan McGregor wasn't having that much fun in Trainspotting.
Tommy had a great time though!
