Make or Break!

So, IMO Arsenal have 10 days to make or break them for the next few years.

If we don't buy and replace players that have left, i can see us doing exactly what liverpool have done. We could potentially finish outside of the top 4, probably behind Spurs, which would be an absolute disaster on its own. Without CL football, we wouldnt attract any players next season, we would struggle to keep hold of the few world class players we have in the current squad, which would leave us f'd.

However, if we pull our thumbs out, and actually do what is necessary then we are still going to be right up there for seasons to come. I'm hearing that Nuri Sahin is on his way, which is a fantastic move IMO. I think he's a Xabi Alonso style player (which is why he hasnt made it at Real Madrid) which would be really nice to see at our club. Im slightly surprised we havent gone for a typical DM, Yann M'Vila for example. We still might, but i can't see us buying more then one more midfielder.

A new right back is needed. Dont get me wrong i love Bacary, but to be fair he's getting on, coming back from 2 leg breaks, im not expecting the Bac's of old. We need a fresh right back who's going to push for the starting place. Not Carl Jenkinson who IMO is never going to be good enough to merit that starting position.

Another striker, get rid of Chamakh (if anyone wants him. That spurs rumour must be a joke). We need a Poacher, just a player that scores and does nothing else. Gets in the right position and puts the ball in the net. I have plenty of faith in Podolski and Giroud, but i dont think either of them are poachers.

I think were 2-3 signings away from challenging again.
