I think we'll see both M'Vila and Sahin come in this week which would be fantastic. I would also like us to go for Remy or to add more depth up front with it looking likely Chamack, Bendtner and Park will all leave.
A new RB could be beneficial, but potentially not necessary this season.
Wengers comments about needing an extra creative player to improve us in the final third is encouraging. In our usual free roaming formation of 4-2-3-1 with the possible additions i would like to see:
GK: Szeszny
RB: Sagna (when fit)
CB: Koscielny
CB: Vermaelen
LB: Gibbs
CDM: M'Vila
CM: Arteta
RAM: Walcott
CAM: Sahin
LAM: Cazorla
ST: Giroud
That would leave us with a lot of options, and with the players freely switching positions on the pitch we should see the best creatively from Sahin and Cazorla

I agree with your article but I have to say that it is a carbon copy of the one I posted moments earlier....

M'Vila is leaving Rennes this week.

If he comes to AFC, Machine gooned will give you a hard time!
Good points OP. This is a season of restructuring the team, so why leave it half way done and having to do it again? Last season we lost 2 most influential players, this season the same. That is 4 most influential players in 2 seasons. It is time we make adequate replacement and try to build a team for the next 3-4 years.
More than anything else, we need goals. Even with RVP scoring so many last year, we were some 20+ goals behind Manchester teams, so without him, I can't see that gap narrowing, only lengthening. Giroud and Podolski are good players but neither will score enough to replace RVP goals, let alone improve our scoring record.
It is time for fire-sale of Bendtner, Chamakh and Park; throw in some of the money we got for RVP, and buy a top striker, whoever he may be. I am talking a proven striker in the 20-30 million bracket. With him Podolski and Giroud, we would have the fire power at least to compete with the top teams.

I think Giroud will make a big impact over the season especially if chances are created all season like they were on Saturday
Cazorla was by far the most creative player, he needs that 'free role' which everyone is talking about.
Personally, i think a solid CM like M'Vila will be good, however, as for Sahin i haven't 'Sahin' play too much to judge.....
Dubbed?
What's wrong with Remy?
Remy is a poor player.
A poorer version of Adebayor. No way. No thanks.
Without CL football, we wouldnt attract any players next season, we would struggle to keep hold of the few world class players we have in the current squad, which would leave us f'd.

We don't attract good players.
We don't hold onto world class players.
We are f'd.

What?

haha
As for Remy, we're better than that
The 3 signings we've made are great players. Keeping hold of Ox, Wilshere, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Szczesny etc in the coming years will be a tough ask for us though. Nothing can surprise me anymore
