Before you do the decent thing???
Enough is enough of this shambles.
I didn't go,
I had no intention of going because I was confident that Swindon would have us over.
I don't care if any of you think this is not constructive....
The point is, that it is constructive.......the quicker we replace this clown the better.
There are no more excuses.......he's had his chance........
I just don't understand why it's taking so long....
Down to you COLIN.......
How much longer Keef???

For me, the writing was on the wall pre-season. Losing to Exeter was indicative of things to come.
I agree with Redprint about Hendo being the best keeper - in fact I agree with Redprint about almost everything, except Lee Johnson.
Yesterday's result, taken as a 'flash in the pan' wouldn't be too bad. Annoying yes, but disasterous no - after all, we have bowed out to inferior opposition in the first Carling Cup game for the last 3 seasons.
My concern is that the Leicester result was the 'flash in the pan', and unless something changes soon we will find ourselves in trouble.

'no I am not entirely comfortable with how KM might spend the money' - Not entirely comfortable
'So tell me who you think would be queueing up at the door the morning the interviews began to replace KM ?
Mourinho ?
Wenger ?.
Don't be silly BRR.
If pressed, I wouldn't be unhappy with Dave Jones or maybe the guy R/S rates - McInnes. Sure there are 1 or 2 more on our board's radar.
You are correct of course that Millen has his hands tied with over rated players given contracts that he as a manager is lumbered with. But that is only half the story BRR.
Firstly,
From a less than perfect squad, who incidentally he's made a lot worse, he's bought 6 players - how many make our 1st eleven ???
Secondly,
His main problem currently is he selects incomprehensible set ups, Cisse must wonder what he did wrong last season in front of our back 4 not to be selected this season.
I can't list all his shortcomings but his banal interviews take some beating - can you imagine his 'inspirational' team talk.

can i add a thing or two....... being a leicester fan, i see this whole mayard thing is begining to rip the spine out of your club. as far as millen is concerned, dont just blame him. there are now some fundamental problems with your club, from the top to the bottom
1. yes your owner is rich, but he is probably writing off 10-15 million losses every year...not sustainable even for him.
2. by keeping maynard with a " probable double your wages if you sign a new contract" will only add to your losses and cause other unrest from players on smaller wages.
3. even if you keep maynard, your whole team really needs a revamp and there is no money coming down from above so even if maynard scores a goal a game, you will lose more than you win.
4. the "we wont sell maynard to another championship club" is all about keeping the fans on board. well im afraid there are now alot of bristol fans would rather have the money to reinvest into players...whether millen gets the money who knows, but he wont get any from the board unless he sells.
i dont personally care if we sign maynard or not. what i do know, is every one has a price and unless your board seriously want to end up with nothing , then maybe now is the time to sell and move on. we are all football fans united in this game of ours. players come and go. the fans are always there.week in week out
players earn really stupid money , and at the end of the day, dont give a damn about the fans,so just get over this before it splits your support in two

redprint. what on earth makes you think dave jones would be any better than Millen ? McInnes I know not, but can I just remind you (and your supporters) that we are not even out of August yet you are baying for the manager's head.
From the farcical to the truly ridiculous, we have gone from hounding out GJ for winning his matches 1-0 to crucifying Millen because he has lost the first two matches (and joined the 60% of Championship clubs who have been knocked out of the Carling cup).
I have frustrations with Millen over his selections this season so far, but that doesnt mean I believe we should sling him out.
Think about it. 2 BLOODY MATCHES !
Has the red half lost its marbles ?
Anyway, I have done with this. First with GJ, who I stood up for on this board and then with Millen.
Its not going to happen any more.
So slaughter the manager again. And when your club is no more because you all thought you could do the job better and gave in to this lunatic inner voice that said "Sack the manager-off with his head", then you can reminisce about when Bristol had another team who used to play in red.
Have a good season

BRR.
I understand your point although I don't agree with it.
I like you also stood up for GJ......and was not one that wanted him out..
I remember when GJ came to our club and although we went something like 7 games without a win, you could see that what he was doing made sense and sooner all later things would turn around.
I just don't get this with Millen.
It's not just two matches is it? it's been plain to see for months and months...
Yes you can go though all the excuses....but I don't buy any of them....
Our pre-season was dreadful and the writing was on the wall.
If their were signs that Millen was getting it together and we were losing I would be like you..
I like Redside & Redprint.....I believe we are going backwards and Millen's got no idea how to sort it.
It would make no difference to me if we give Doncaster a thrashing....it won't change my mind regarding Millens ability.....
This time........the manager really needs to go IMO

As for you the Leicester fan..
The last thing we want to do is sale our best player...but if it did happen it shouldn't be to another championship club. Why the hell would he want to go to you anyway.....you ain't exactly running away with the league are you????

Maybe the Cisse thing is something personal - like we had in the past (allegedly) with Noble and Keogh and Basso. If that is the case he won't play for us under KM - as won't LJ so it seems (some will be pleased).

Did you see the interview Basso gave a while back R&W? He stated his reasons for leaving City was to due with his career and how much he beliveved in himself and didnt mention any rift with GJ which pretty much dispells the myths and rumours that he had a fall out with LJ over religion or whatever other nonsense was being blurted out at the time.
I think the Cisse thing is personal because it just doesnt make sense. The LJ thing is too curry favour and nothing else, which makes Millen look weak anyway.

The LJ thing is because he doesn't rate him, along with thousands of City fans.
