Back in maybe 1968 !! going 2 down to Burnley in FOUR minutes and winning 4-3 thanks to an Alan Gilzean hat-trick.
You must have been there Sandy ?

WHL did resemble a bog sometime aroundabout most early Decembers, but then a lotta of grounds were the same, so suppose it was a level playing field.
Certainly though what team should have won more titles, no question. Season 59/60 sitting top, then lost two home games in two or three days over Easter to Man City and Chelsea messed it up. Season 61/62 lost twice to Ipswich, and the title was lost by a couple of points.

I was 5 we had no internet no mobiles or even a house phone then we did have a newspaper and three TV Channels in Black & White - BBC1 , BBC2 & ITV so you can see the World was a lot younger then !!

Far be it from me to question you Numbers but it's a well know fact that black and white TV didn't arrive in Wales until 1989. In '68 I'd hazard a guess that you and many of your choir forming compatriots were still living in caves.

What a strange boy that Harry's is he is certainly showing extreme symptoms of Welshophobia with him giving his old boy a rest to write this banal response to my original comment.

I can't recall Gilly's hat-trick in the game mentioned but I certainly remember Greavesy's 3 against Leicester in 1968 as I was there!

I was at White Hart Lane in 1968 when we beat Burnley 7-0. The incomparable Jimmy Greaves scored a hat-trick and I seem to remember Cliff Jones playing out of his skin but going off injured after bravely scoring a diving header and colliding with the post. He was our generation's version of Gareth Bale...double-quick!

No, I'm just antisocial whereas they're a bit more extreme than that. My leg pulling has never knowingly resulted in a loss of limbs.
