Best of luck to @JoshHarrop23, who'll join Preston when his #MUFC contract expires at the end of the month: http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2017/Jun/josh-harrop-to-join-preston-north-end-in-permanent-transfer-from-manchester-united.aspx?utm_campaign=ManUtd&utm_medium=post&utm_source=twitter

I do like your updates on the youth Rosso. Do keep them coming, it's really my only way of keeping in touch now.

We've got Pereira coming back from Spain as well so Harrop was never going to play.

Swear people have been talking about Pereira for about 40 years.
We've been waiting for him to come back for 40 years!

Credit to the lad for being willing to take a step down in order to progress. I really hope the move works out for him and we see him playing regularly in the PL in the future.

Club career
Harrop marked his senior debut with a goal for United against Crystal Palace on the last day of the 2016–17 Premier League season, the first of a 2–0 win.[3] His goal meant he became Manchester United's 100th different scorer in the Premier League.[3] Despite this, Manchester United released Harrop at the end of his contract in June 2017, allowing him to move to Preston North End on a four-year contract.[4]

So he was offered a contract but declined it. I suppose he didn't get much of a chance.

Ben Pearson's made a decent name for himself at Preston, hopefully Josh can do the same too.
He's made a tough but ultimately the right decision to leave as I think his chances would've been very limited next season and he just couldn't afford to play another season of U23 football at his age.
