news which should be shared.
Rest of article is illuminating about the costs of change which needs to be incurred by the club.
Great article by Mike Thornton.
He’s worth a follow for those of you on Twitter.

Salonika, ive followed Mike for years and as Ive says, i believe him but the situation remains that the club has released no statement to date on this, and the message coming via a fan is interpreted by fans very differently than a message coming directly from the club. One wonders why the club hasn’t addressed this directly.
If you think ARs public comments about TC are acceptable then I think you’re in a minority, AR dud himself no favours with those.
As for the badge it showed utter disrespect for the fans, not just the pretence at consultation but the entire lack of sticking to the next process they volunteered.
These are AR decisions and I’m sorry they show complete disrespect to TC and the fans.

if you and others think that then methinks some people’s levels of sensitivity are too high.
Who are you (or anyone) to decide when someone is being disrespectful as opposed to making a mistake?

Have to say I think the 2 issues being referred to are both mistakes and misjudgements (are they the same thing?). Not sure it's disrespect, but that's for others to perceive as they feel about things.
I think the oversensitivity, if that's what it is, is borne out of a decade and multiple owners shafting the fanbase. I actually don't think (probably more hope) AR is the same, but i'm still reserving judgement.
Some good stuff, some not so good.

VOF my reaction is because I was cautious re AR, was appreciative and supportive of what he’s done but also he needs to be held responsible for his awful comments re TC and shocking way of handling the badge.
Seriously, cast your mind back, there was international mockery about this and favs were outraged at club saying it had consulted 10,000 fans it was bull and showed a huge disconnect. To then say favs at heart of everything blah blah blah and then mess everyone about again over this Feb 21 vote shows disrespect for fans. Quite simply, it was not seen as a priority to even let fans know on time it wasn’t happening, that is disrespectful, the same way it’s disrespectful you asking your employee to meet with you at 10 and you not turning up but next day telling them you’ll meet them at some in the future without even an apology for wasting their time.

Yep total bull when it came to the fan consultation.
We've just got to hope that he's smart enough to know the fan base aren't daft and he learns accordingly for the future.
I'm still cautious about the guy if i'm honest. Instinct says he means well, but i'm wondering just who really is pulling the strings behind the whole situation.

Over sensitive? Here?
Not so sure about that.
And LIW, yes statistics can be selected to back up one’s opinion but I’m really upset that you wrote to me like that so now I’m going to cry. 😢
