The reasons I want to keep him until Christmas are,
I do think the signings we made are good and righted some wrongs, especially Ugarte and Yoro.
I also think that we have found in Mount someone who is perfect for the high press.
We haven't been able to see Ugarte or Yoro yet and little of the others.
What I have seen of Mazraoui he looks good.
De Light and Zirkzee too soon.
I would like to see a three mane midfield (acknowledgement to VC)
comprising Mainoo, Mount and Ugarte, thus dropping Bruno.
Front three depending on form and fitness, but my choice Amad, Rasmus, Carnacho/Rashford.
Defence depends on opponents, injury and form. But our two new defenders could become first choice.
I think it's a little unfair to say sack him today when two new buys aren't available, and two first teamers injured.
I have no certainty about my opinion, but I do think he has been extremely unlucky with injuries and the start of the new players here.
I'm no different to any other United fan, I want to see the glory days return a la SAF.
I don't think continually changing managers is the answer, so if I was Ineos I would review at Christmas.

Casemiro is particular was abysmal but Martinez was no better.

That first goal was reminiscent of the goal Liverpool scored against us in pre season; everyone drawn to the ball before it was clipped over to back post for someone to prod home. Full back nowhere to be seen.
Apart from Salah's goal Casemiro was at his worst for the first two goals playing a significant part; losing possession in a dangerous area...

Let's be honest, who facking cares about the carabao and fa cup when we are facking one of the most depressing teams to watch in the entire English league system?
Id much rather us have some facking identity, some style of play, something entertaining than win a sh!tty cup nobody cares about once every few years.
After all, the excitement of winning a cup disappears after a day, or less, whereas having a season or multiple seasons of entertaining facking football is much better in my book.
my dad is from Plymouth, and we often watch them live around the country and fking hell even they're enjoyable to watch.

I'm still buzzing from that cup win tbf

Just as well a Coventry toe was offside and every team has injuries but they don’t all sign awful players but of course he only a manager on 9 million a year and shouldn’t be expected to be a good judge of players to sign that wouldn’t be fair would it or expect him to be able to coach them that’s not fair either.
At least he is really good with the media but then mm
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You also forget to mention the league cup the year before and the cup final.m
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbf it should really have been Coventry in that final, not us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really! The goal was offside was it not?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Deary me.
Yes his toenail was offside. But Cov were fantastic that day and made every smug United player realise how lucky they were to get to that final after almost throwing it all away in the last few minutes and extra time. And every one of us supporters at Wembley that day stood rigid and realised how close and lucky we were to being KO'd. And the final insult with Antony goading the Cov players in their faces after the missed their final penalty. Classless. Totally classless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Put your dislike for me to one side you moron!
You admitted he was offside, we were lucky but we capitalised on the narrow margin did we not, the better side doesn’t always win!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
wtf did you come from. Im replying to somebody else. Go away you pest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
“Oh deary me” indeed!
If you care to check the thread properly you’ll find your “deary me” reply was a direct reply to my comment of “Really! The goal was offside was it not?”
You really are clueless!

I struggle to see a way back for ETH tbh.
As I have no control over the decision, I can only remain hopeful that something dramatic will change, while not seeing any evidence that it will.

I’m not a ETH out person, but yesterday got me thinking nothing has changed we looked a mess from defence to attack, is it going to improve? At present I can’t see it!

Erik ten Hag: “I don't think it’s right to say it feels same as last year”.
“You can see the xG we didn't concede as many goals. I don't think we are in the same pattern”.
“Well done, Liverpool. We have to be humble and take it”.
ETH is officially Hafi!

As long as the xg says we are doing ok, then that's all good in my book. Xg is the most important stat in football after all, even more important than actual goals.

We have Arsenal and City away in December, I think that would be the end for ETH. Really hope I’m wrong

Do you hope you're wrong?
I can't take much more of watching us these days, it's an absolute chore.
I don't think Eth is the man to get this team playing good enough football to compete in the league and CL.
I believe the players can be good enough but to get to the next level we'll need a much better manager.
