Eth has started on a clean slate this season, so he'll be given a minimum of half a season, at the most until next summer. He needs results and fast, just to get the press off his back.

He's staying regardless.
INEOS should have sacked when they were going to and now will look completely pathetic and spineless if they go back on that decision after 3 weeks so that simply isn't going to happen.
Incredibly they have managed to make a bad situation even worse by simply not going with their gut instinct.

I think he’ll get until end of Oct beginning of Nov if things don’t improve he’s gone, that’ll give time for someone (not got a clue who) to come in assess the players before the transfer window.

Should we sack ETH right now? No, and I say that as someone who thinks we should have got rid of him in the summer.
Deep down I don't think he is the right guy to make the next step of the journey, but as we agreed to keep him, I support him and hope he proves me wrong. Of course he is slowly running out of time, and it would have helped if he had made a good start to the season.
Whether he gets til Christmas will depend on the next 10 games or so. A run of poor results and he may not last that long.
We all have our ideas of how the team should play, who should play etc. Perhaps we have been unlucky with injuries, but that doesn't excuse everything.
Ultimately the buck stops with ETH, and so far, we still haven't seen a team where we can say, ok that's what he wants. He can talk about it, but it's not being seen on the pitch. And even though we have new additions, a lot of this team is still full of faces which had the same problems last year.
I think we need a different type of manager, dare I say one who can get the players 'enjoying the game', and communicate with the team in a way which I don't think ETH is able to do. He's the guy who has overseen clearing out a lot of rubbish, but it's then tough to be the guy who takes us to the next step.
I agree we shouldn't just sack managers for the sake of it. But at the same time, we should be prepared to recognise when it is not working out, and not just aimlessly cling onto hope.
So for me he stays for now, but he's going to need to turn things around and have a relatively quick change in fortunes, both in terms of consistent results and improved perfomance on the pitch - it is very hard to envisage that happening.
It just feels like the inevitable is going to happen............

Should we sack ETH right now? No, and I say that as someone who thinks we should have got rid of him in the summer.
Deep down I don't think he is the right guy to make the next step of the journey, but as we agreed to keep him, I support him and hope he proves me wrong. Of course he is slowly running out of time, and it would have helped if he had made a good start to the season.
Whether he gets til Christmas will depend on the next 10 games or so. A run of poor results and he may not last that long.
We all have our ideas of how the team should play, who should play etc. Perhaps we have been unlucky with injuries, but that doesn't excuse everything.
Ultimately the buck stops with ETH, and so far, we still haven't seen a team where we can say, ok that's what he wants. He can talk about it, but it's not being seen on the pitch. And even though we have new additions, a lot of this team is still full of faces which had the same problems last year.
I think we need a different type of manager, dare I say one who can get the players 'enjoying the game', and communicate with the team in a way which I don't think ETH is able to do. He's the guy who has overseen clearing out a lot of rubbish, but it's then tough to be the guy who takes us to the next step.
I agree we shouldn't just sack managers for the sake of it. But at the same time, we should be prepared to recognise when it is not working out, and not just aimlessly cling onto hope.
So for me he stays for now, but he's going to need to turn things around and have a relatively quick change in fortunes, both in terms of consistent results and improved perfomance on the pitch - it is very hard to envisage that happening.
It just feels like the inevitable is going to happen............

Onana— very poor signing, big downgrade on previous keeper, out the door of ETH goes
Mazraoui - poor today but been decent so far
De Lijt - too early but should have pedigree
Martinez — good
Mallacia- who?
Ugarte - too early
Casemiro - was good, then bad
Mount - not great
Antony - awful
Zirkzee - too early
Hojlund- good, hopefully much more to come
