I've seen many posts slagging off the owners for sacking Sven. Of course it was a shock to us all and I'm not sure if they did the right thing or not, only time will tell.
The owners have shown their ambitions and commitment to the club by investing £20 million on players and ground improvements, including a fantastic training facility, unheard of in this league. I dread to think where this club would be now if the hadn't of taken over when they did. However, they obviously thought Sven was not going to achieve their ambitions for the club, they have backed Sven all the way on very thing he had asked for, but the team was just not performing to the level of many other teams in this league. If we had just carried on as we were, personally I don't think we would have made the play off's. I think we now have to wait for the appointment of the new manger and see he can get this team performing, he then has time to see what players are needed to boost the team in January.
Shouldn't we be backing the owners?

Yes, that side and the money side is attractive. But it's obvious that whoever comes in is going to be under an extreme amount of pressure and the expectancy is so high. And I don't know if the positives such as the money / squad aspect outweighs the stress of the pressure.

Name a manager who isn't under pressure though!
And I'm sure the reported £1mil handshake for Sven made up for the dissapointment of losing his job!
Football management is one of the few jobs where you can get paid a fortune for being a failure and then get a massive pay off to clear off.
Being an MP is another one.

They ain't like us and even if they fail, they get paid, so it's a win win situation!

I'm not saying that Sven is hard done by, quite frankly I don't really care how Sven feels, I'm more concerned about who were going to get in to supposedly do a better job.
Every manager is under pressure, but not to the extent of our pressure. The next manager is going to be expected to win games and get promoted without fail. End of.

I serious doubt that there is a manager out there who think's they can't get Leicester promoted!
R U saying that Chelsea's manager isn't under more pressure, I would think that is the most pressurised job in Football at the moment, but still people would wanna manage them!
Football manager isn't like most jobs and managers arn't like most employers!
You'll be fine!
