People who think Ronaldo is better than Messi know nothing about football.

Messi is the world's best right now, but there's no doubt that he's benefited from having one of the best passers of the ball in footballing history, Xavi, playing behind him. Xavi is the one that creates the chances that Messi finishes brilliantly. However, to truly be considered the greatest ever, Messi would need to win the World Cup with Argentina IMO. He has underperformed with his country so far in his career, and unless that changes and he shows that he can perform at such a high standard when surrounded by players of a much lesser quality than those at Barca, he can't really be called the best ever.
