"We are doing our best to buy Cuellar!"
"Boom, here is your new signing, a midget from Austraila!"
Personally i'm sick fed up of this whole situation!!!!!!!! I just want to play in a league without the old firm in it, the fans, the media and the muppet x-players chucking their 10 pence worth in in every paper is ridiculas getting. Tell the pair of them to GTF and we'll start a fresh They (old firm) can do want they want give them billions and us nothing i really dont mind. Let them have 30 games a season flying their anti-scottish flags.
I'll be much happier watching us play dundee, raith, pars, falkirk and all the rest in a bigger and more competitive league even if standard drops and only the top team goes into the europa league in the very 1st round, it'll still be much better than the ess-pee-ell
What annoys me the most is why were these rules not already in place?
Rangers big tax bill has been in the public domain for three years now. Anybody with half a brain would know that could lead to an insolvency event.
Also what happens if Rangers go Newco prior to the rules coming in? There are no rules right now to deal with that scenario. If punishment is to be retrospective why were Motherwell not docked 10 points for going into admin?
Democracy in the SPL?
O.K. Let's have real democracy.
What are the average attendances of these R10 teams?
Let's say there's an O/F game on the weekend and 5 other games.
Even if the O/F game is at Ibrox, I would bet there are more folk who pay to see that than all the other 5 games put together. That would seem to me that true democracy would be to have every team have a vote that is representative of the number of fans they have.
It would only be fair after all.
Or does that not fit with the diddy teams agenda?
quebec, yeah yeah, blah blah, you's are massive teams, were all diddy teams, boast boast everyone in the whole world knows hows massive the old firm are and guess what..................................................... no one outside of the old firm bowl cares!!!
Like i said take all the sky money have an old firm decider every week, winner takes the cup for a week and all us diddy teams will play at 3pm on a saturday with real fans enjoying a competitive league where more the same two teams can win it.
What about my points lads?
Bluetoon - you actually make good points and I agree with them.
Certainly these rules should have been in place years ago and the fact they haven't just once again shows the incompetency of that board.
What I will say is that there seems to be a belief that Rangers are going to be retrospectively punished - they aren't. There is likely to be rule changes but those rules are for the future, not the past. It's just that Rangers may still be punished because they will still be suffering from an insolvency event when the new rules are implemented - although if you believe what you read in the media then they will be out of admin and won't have anything to worry about as they will have agreed a CVA by then.
I'll crack the jokes Ivan.
The more I think about the more I think I would be happier for Rangers to go to Division 3.
I also want an SPL though where 5 or 6 teams can realistically win the competition.
My personal opinion is that Rangers should go to the 3rd Division if you go newco. It's morally right.
What that will mean to the rest of us I'm not sure, but it's the right thing and we'll just have to live with the consequences of it.
However, I suspect that won't happen as the chairmen don't have the balls to vote them down.
Bluetoon, they have to go down to 3rd and work theyre way back up....... we might lose money fae sky but who cares, think of the money it will generate for the lower divisions.
Ivan, your right it is the right thing
I knew you'd bite at the "diddy team" jibe, but what about representative democracy?
I don't hear you wee Dundonians squawking for that, I wonder why.
Why should any fan have more reprensentation than any other?
No answer for that Arabs?

If you want to have a serious debate then really cheap jibes won't help.
And I'm 5'11 so I'm not that wee.
But since I'm nice, I'll answer your question.
One team = one vote. That's representative enough for me.
If you look at the Parliamentary Elections for the United Kingdom, the size of each constituency doesn't mean that they get more or less representatives in Parliament. They get one MP, regardless of size.
Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross has 47,572 voters, Linlithgow and East Falkirk has 81,756 voters. They both get 1 MP.
Or do you think this is wrong?
quebec, how does my wee league of 2 sound for ye??? Old firm derby every week........sweet
All us 'wee dundonians' or 'wee jambos' or 'wee dons' heck were all 'wee diddys' anyway arent we?? Well just be playing each other twice a season and we'll all be happy in our 'wee diddy competitive league'
But ivan dont you see we dont need teams!!!! Just fans so that would mean celtic or rangers could out vote the whole of divisions 1,2 + 3.
