I'd be happy with that if it happens.
Like everyone else, hardly seen him and cant remember him. Lets not bull, that how it is.
So we all have to base our opinion on paper.
Hard to judge on paper, things for him, thing against him.
Not against the signing but have a open mind
Remember seeing him play for Bournemouth in play offs. Thought to myself : "If Bournemouth don't go up through play offs, maybe we should try to sign him". Looked good. Only seen him play 3-4 though
He's young, injury free, on his way up, and got spirit/leadership about him.
Not bad characteristics to start with.
looks a good signing
surley all of you who are happy with moancock should be cheering as you must trust his signings, yes?
Another nobody dont foget he's playing for a defence that has just been religated, if any thing we should be looking at the players that have just been promoted.
Mind you they would cost money, If we do raid Pompey at least there player on the cheap.
leedsmadness, are you of the side who was happy with moancocks appointment?
madness, Pompey have been a club in turmoil this season and wouldn't have been relegated had it not been for points deduction.
Their goals against is not much worse than ours.
He was in a relegation side.....so was scott parker!! He is young and has experience of the sorrow of relegation. In my opinion the buy is very astute.
Joel ward is also leaving them. Decent defender.
I've always like Liam Lawrence, he's too good for League 1 and would happily have Ross-Snods-Lawrence as our three attackers next season. Would take Mullins next to Clayts too. Think there'll be a lot of competition to pick off there best assets though.
We have one thing to our advantage this year, we can offer decent wages, we can offer first team football, and we are the biggest club in the league.

Whats changed from the last two seasons then?
We could always offer this things.
As a Huddersfield Fan I saw first hand the lad Pearce 4 times last season.
He was the one I wanted us to cherry pick from their side after the Play Offs last season, but it seems Pompey had already got him. From what I have seen from him in the games he played against us, you have a cracking signing there. Forget all the tripe from some of your own fans saying "he's in a relegation team"
This lad, in my eyes, is the sort of player you need for next season moving forward.
All the best
Inter, I think so too....cheers!
With Grayson in charge we could not offer 1st team places, just ask Barry Bannan.
Our finance situation seems to indicate a more respectable wage sytem.
The size of the club was overlooked by many players who ran out on us for other clubs i.e Puncheon. Our recruitment of a high profile coach who seems to offer trandparency, has raised our profile on the "professional circuit" if you will.
Better players than what we have seen in recent transfer windows will be more open to coming here im sure of it.
I can't find a link anywhere to say he has signed, any 1 seen it?
Mike, we could offer first team football, we (Grayson) chose not to.
We could also afford to offer decent wages, if anything we are in a worse financial situation now than in the previous couple of seasons now that we sold stock options and season ticket monies.
Not sure we're still the biggest club as our attendances have dwindled.
We SHOULD be a good proposition for a player, Bates is the reason why we're not.
Its still a rumour. Sky sports reporting that he will sign asap.
When lancashire white comes on the board he might be able to shed more light on it. I remember he said he has a friend who works at Portsmouth fc or something along those lines
Paul Green spotted getting the tour of Ellend rd.
Frank, Ive been on the phone to my freind in porstmouth he has told me its looking good about pearce and he will let me know ASAP
