Gazza - Don't think so. Even though our last pre-season was all youngsters, probably on the basis to give the first team players a rest after the WC, but i think they will probably go on merit.
Steve Holland will probably say which ones deserve to go etc and which ones can benefit the most.
I didn't list McEachran in that as im putting him into the first team squad category.
In that Interview on TalkSPORT.
When Guus left he gave Roman a 2-3 year blueprint on what had to happen, and he said that refreshing the squad was a MUST. Looks like if we do get him there could be quite a few changes, and probably will be regardless.
United would have to pay ATLEAST 175K a week to get Sneijder.
Roman asked Guus to leave a blue print

What would Inter ask for?
About 30M according to that.
That's very reasonable for a quality player.
Inter are supposedly working with more of a "budget" during the summer, so if they do want to make any big signings, they need a bit of extra funding and Sneijder would certainly bring that.
30M seems pretty reasonable too. Think we would probably have the advantage having Hiddink.
I'd love us to steal him from under Utd.
That would make my summer

I think with midfielder like Sneijder they can play at the top level until atleast 34-35. If we could get 7+ seasons out of him i'd be happy with that.
Since it's his passing and technique that makes him brilliant and he dosen't rely on speed etc he won't really lose his passing as he gets on.

I think Josh can learn much more from a Sneijder though

I'd go with:
Lalkovic/Bertrand/Kalas/C.Clifford.
Think it will be them, but almost certain on Lalkovic and Bertrand.
--------
Wasn't Chalobah in the preseason squad last year?
What about Todd Kane?
If we don't get a right back he might get some game time
Good stuff tonight

BK yeah Chalobah was in the pre season squad last year so I'd expect him to be there again this year.
On sneijder I;d be happy to have him (wouldve been happier 3 years ago) but I;d much rather we got Pastore. the guy is special and at a much better age. Sneijder is great but I'd rather we continued to view towards younger players.
Pastore played just behind a quick striker in Hernandez for much of last season and he would be ideal to get the best from Torres, plus he is a goal threat.
How about signing Hulk? surely he is worth a punt and he will be cheaper than Pastore
He is a completely different player. wide attacker/striker where as Pastore is a playmaker/support striker. basically a number 10.
I don't think it would ever come down to an either or. I think Neymar has been proposed by most as the wide attacker they want. the likes of Sanchez and Mata also mentioned. so Hulk would be instead of one of them.

Can play on both wings, make alot of assists and scores more goals than Pastore, also can operate as a striker.
