exactly what gazza said basically. you can;t really compare the players. Also Hulk scored more in a lesser league and in much more matches. 11 goals was an impressive return for Pastore last year.

I just don;t see any relationship between Hulk and Pastore, they could barely be any more different. alternatives to Pastore would be the likes of Sneijder, Kaka (hopefully not) Diego etc

Been told that Roma goalkeeper Doni is in talks with Liverpool.

Bastos is close to a move to Juventus from Lyon.

Arnesen wants Bruma on a 2 year loan deal with a view to a permanent move.

Footgoal.net say Chelsea offered €10m for Kevin De Bruyne.

I asked a contact in Belgium if there was any truth in the rumours for De Bruyne, and he said it would take atleast a bid of 7M for Genk to consider it.

If it's 10ME though it looks as though the move might be going ahead.

If we are to sign Neymar I just have a feeling It will drag on until the end of the transfer market because of the third party ownership.(But like I said before I don't see this transfer happening)

If we do go for Neymar we won't get him until atleast the end of this month.

Likewise we won't get anyone until we confirm Hiddink or someone as manager, and if it is Hiddink, earliest we will get him is next week.

I'd like to think that Roman already knows we have Hiddink and is just waiting for him to return from holiday, and hopefully they started proceedings a while ago to bring the targets in they wanted.

A few rumours going around that Steve Clarke could return to the club if Hiddink is appointed as manager.

Ganso will remain at Santos until January before making the move to Italy.

Chelsea & Spurs still remain interested, but it looks as though his destination will be A.C.

Tevez has got major issues and It might be because of Kia 'Money leecher' Joorabchian.

Chelseamf - He's an excellent young talent, and has the label of "Brazilian Zidane", but he's starting to live up to the hype and potential.

Has speed/skill/passing/control, pretty much everything you want in an attacking midfielder.

Not sure if he's worth 30M, but then again you hardly ever see a player go for true value these days.

Yeah i think it'll be a few clubs last chances to spend big, and i think a few will with the view of not having to spend big again for atleast 5 seasons or so.

If we buy wisely and manage to get McEachran and Sturridge in to the first team then i don't think we'll have to have any major shakeups for a long time.

With Piazon coming in January, and if we spend say 100M this summer, i wouldn't be surprised if in the transfer windows after that we only spent about 15-20M on 1-2 players.
