I think you answered your own question in your question TBH

A factor in Sterling being underrated is that people don't like him. He played for Liverpool, he runs effeminately and he's now perceived as money grabbing. Having 40 kids by the age of 18 hasn't helped either.

Being underrated could work in his favour. Less pressure on his shoulders.

Agree, but I don't think being slightly disliked by a large chunk of the nation is good for many people's state of mind

we played two holding midfielders & Costa....almost the same

you have a point though...although they have potential goals in midfield, & buoght their top scorer on at a time where he might have made a difference...unlike Jose - giving Remy five minutes

Thing is if the roles were reversed i could see Jose doing exactly the same

Did you notice the 4 times we have won the PL we was in front at this point.

History seems to tell us start well or forget it.
