I do think Amorim will prove to be a good appointment, but it would be hilarious if he turned out to be another AVB. Could have at least seen the season out at Sporting.

Legitimately think he might've f@cked his career with that move. I know he seemed dead set on it for some reason, but if I was his agent I'd have literally begged him (on hands & knees) to reconsider
They should've kept Van Nistelrooy. United aren't built for manager revolutions anymore, there's a mercenary mentality that runs through every aspect of that club, it's only getting extracted if they do a Clearlake & firebomb the squad. They can only do anything with ego stroke managers now - so that's Ancelotti, maybe Zidane, or former players.

I think the truth is this game was like a lot of games this season and this time around we were unlucky.
Another day and Enzo's curler goes in and Leno doesn't pull of a worldie save and we go on to smash them 4-0, or another day and Wilson strays just offside and we cling on for 1-0 or another where Nkunku's last minute effort goes in a we draw 2-2.
It was a very open match where this season we have won through superior firepower compared to the other team. This time we were just a little more tired than usual and Fulham were more ruthless than others have been. So, we lose.
It's embarrassing. Yes. I am annoyed? Of course. I will be in a bad mood until we win another game - probably...
but more times than not this season we'll win games like that. This will just happen time to time.

Yeah, a decent game between two good teams, and it really could have gone either way. We didn’t get the rub of the green today. But you’ve got to say, Fulham are excellent.

Amorim must be missing Sporting. He had a great thing going on there and they might have gone far in the CL this season under him. I questioned him going to the mess at Utd midseason, thought it was a poor move for him when he could have just waited until the summer. And so far it's proved to be just that.
There was an upturn in performances under Ruud and things briefly looked up for a short while. They could have given him a few weeks to see what he could do. That would have been a better decision as I said that the time. Amorim would still have been available later this season if needed or in the summer.

Amorim was told it was now or never, but that’s still not a good excuse. Utd were desperate and surely would have been back for him in the summer.
And if not Utd he could easily have been approached by another big club after working wonders at Sporting.

Have you seen Sporting’s results since Amorim left. I think they were 11-0-0 when he left, and now they are 12-1-2, equal on points with Porto and a point behind Benfica. Incredible.

I was very annoyed at losing yesterday too....when we had that game controlled for the most part
Quite why our bench was so depleted was a mystery, as was not using the likes of Felix for Palmer on the hour...not saying he would have pulled up trees....
Liverpool running away with it now it seems...can't imagine Forest are going to keep that level up, & inevitably Arsenal will go second later
Need a couple of injured back & then get our heads right for Ipswich away we seem to be more at home away...

There was no time yesterday that I felt we had the game under control. In fact I would say that there are few games this season that we have controlled. It's the main thing this young team we needs to improve on.
