Yeah we had quite a few players out today, at least 6-7 who are either starting or on the bench.

So those asking for Maresca to change it, he was very limited in his options.

Didn't stop Poch getting slammed for no subs last season when he had zero options at times

Anyway our youtuber fans (not a dig at minididi who's a legitimate fan like anyone else, I just mean the usual types on youtube) will be erupting over this result.

I would feel that way if I thought we were in a title race - but we're not. And never were.

Poch tbf has less credit in the bank with me. Maresca has made more right calls in 15 games already than Poch did all season.

There were a few times where I thought he was looking lazy tbf, given he was a sub.

But he did also compete in a few aerial duels and seemed to be having more luck than Jackson in that department

Well it’s not just subs, you can try to tweak the tactics too. It felt like Fulham did that in the second half.

The point was it was clear that Fulham weren’t gonna lose with the way the game was going. They were all over us and you can’t just sit there and hope it works out. Gotta find solutions.

Thing with today was...despite our limited bench you could just see the equaliser coming a fackin mile off & I alluded to it five minutes prior

But to compound the issue we left the subs too late & committed the sin of getting caught out to a team that's capable if left to play...which we did

Would Felix and Chris on the hour have made a difference...?

who knows - i'd have liked to see it given a shot though

Mudryk probably would have come on for Sancho if he wasn’t so dumb

The quality of post match interview questions us embarrassing

Not necessarily, Ipswich are considerably worse than Fulham

But then we play again soon after Ipswich and if he’s playing the same players then they’ll be even more tired

This is the problem when 3 of your starters are perpetually injured.

Maybe he needs to trust some of the youth players

Ipswich on Monday, then it's Palace next Saturday.

It's not that congested, players should be fine.

Most of these guys have been playing 1 game a week up until now

Just come up against Dycheball who we notoriously struggle against at Goodison.

Then a very good Fulham side today.

I don't see the need to panic atm

Don't focus on the results is my advice, analyse the actual team.

We are poor defensively and don't keep many clean sheets. That is unlikely, to change this season.

With a fully fit squad we have a great selection of attacking options, although we lack a quality striker.

Caicedo and Enzo are looking much improved and when Lavia is fit, our midfield options are strong.

Cucu also much improved.

We lack experience and leaders.

Manager seems OK to me, but is early days.

Conclusion we have a d3cent chance of finishing 3rd or 4th if we don't suffer injuries to key players.

It is baffling how a sub can be lazy though.

Surely if you have limited minutes you should be buzzing around trying to be as much of a nuisance as possible to the opponents.

Can’t tell what’s worse between players pretending to be injured, or those who give up when there was still time to salvage the error like Zouma used to

Also a classic Sanchez performance today. Some good saves but hopeless with the ball at his feet, creating two great chances for the opposition, one of which was punished.
