Can't see us getting much from next week's game either....we need to focus on what our best 11 is and mainly stick to it...

After 60imuyes the game changed. United found a new gear and we ran out of energy. Conte’s subscwerevtoo late and wrong I think. After 60 minutes it had to be Morata and Willian off for Pedro and Giroud. Seemed obvious to me.

Their midweek rest in Seville must've made the difference.

MotD2 coming up soon - don't think I can bear to watch it though!

Issue with Morata is he goes to ground too easily when someone gets close to him.
But I'm gonna put that on Conte as much as him; surely he can see that for himself and should therefore be ordering him to cut it out.

His shooting has been terrible ever since he joined. But at least today he was super unlucky in that aspect - the volley rattled against the bar, then the linesman screwed him and us over after an excellent finish for once on his weaker side.

When it's not going for you, you sometimes need these kind of confidence boosters. But luck has hardly been on our side since pretty much the turn of the year. And now the season has turned into a disaster.

Not disaster yet, but could end that way

So it looks like Tottenham have only two difficult games left, including at SB. We'll probably be 4 points behind them after the Man City game next week.

Hopefully they go far enough in the CL for it to ruin some of their PL results.

I agree it's not a disaster just yet. We have a very tough couple of weeks coming up though that will define our season. Can't say I'm overly confident. Hazard and maybe Willian aside we truly are lacking in the player department though. No getting round that.

Certainly in attacking options anyway.

Last two games are Liverpool at home and Newcastle away

I still think Liverpool are the team most likely to slump but if we lose to City next weekend we maybe too far behind.

Arsenal-Man City on Thursday then Man City-Chelsea on Sunday and we have the whole week to prepare, possible advantage?

Though as I said earlier, we don’t always make the most of those situations.
