There have been several games where Conte has set the team up right, but then something has gone wrong and he hasn't been able to recover from that. That Arsenal league cup game we were all over them, but suddenly lost all that urgency after scoring rather than extending the lead. Then some fluke double deflection goes against us and it's like the team starts feeling sorry for itself.

In game management really seems to be his weakness. Plan A often works, but when it doesn't it's like simply giving up and accepting the opposition has countered our strategy.

I can hardly think of any occasions to prove otherwise. Apart from the 4-2 against Watford.

we should stay well clear of any coach who has managed barca in the last few years since pep

every wingle one of them since hs relied hugely on the talents of suarez, messi etc, it was largely believed that the team didnt really listen to enrique any way

all of them have benefited from peps era

we need a manager who can re invent the wheel re shape the squad get rid of the deadwood and start bringing through the youngsters and create a whole new sustainable identity.

we cant compete with city and united so we need a new approach

this season is a write off because the baord fecked around with Conte and now Conte doesnt give a feck... should never of been in charge this season if his heart wasnt in it and now we are at a standoff

best case now as much as i hate to say it is bin of conte and get brendan in to start the process, the new manager bounce, a good attacking coach and one that would be good for our young players and we could sneak back into the top 4

Cahill isnt a leader and is easily replaced and since AC has come in and rudigers improved performances i see no place in the starting 11 for him thus no place as captain.

A lot of your anger is due to past mistakes made though, but now we have to talk in the present. Dwater etc are here. We can't judge player performances on blocking the path of a younger player, that was not drinkwaters doing. Dwater was good at the weekend. Has been good in the big games he's played in tbf and scored a worldy. A lot more to come from him imo. You give player time in a new team regardless of age.

Barkley imo was a decent player a everton, excited to see if he is given games to make a difference.

Cahill is a leader, he's scored important goals for us, loves the club and puts his body on the line. For what he lacks in technical ability he atleast tries to make up for in determination and leadership.

More shown in recent weeks where AC has been making a fair few mistakes. If that was cahill he'd be hung out to dry on this board.

Azpi and cahill are the only leaders I see at the club. I would love JT to still be in the background of the club but obviously he wanted to keep playing.

Yup.

I'll happily get rid of Bakajoko this summer, but Drinkwater hasn't done much wrong, I'm happy for him to stay, he could be a solid squad player if given more of a chance.
