Don’t think Di Marzio has much credibility outside of Italian affairs. So while it may be true that Sarri is leaving, I’m not going to take Di Marzio’s word on who Chelsea want to replace him with.

I think I may cry with laughter though if we appoint Lampard and he plays Giroud over Abraham, Willian over Hudson-Odoi, Barkley over Mount etc.

Cmf’s reaction would be extremely interesting if that happened

I think it's a really big mistake to let Sarri go.

It sounds like he has his head turned by Juve in any case,

A lot to say he’s not *as* committed to next season as his words in the last few days

I don't blame him. No more idiot fans in the Harding End booing him, probably a 50 percent pay increase, no transfer ban, a much better squad to work with, and also it's less weird to manage two rival Italian clubs so he probably won't get the stick you'd think he would of the Juve supports.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah if he goes atm it looks more just he has a better opening then on the board

Hudson-Odoi can sign that contract now
It'd be nice not swing from success straight into crisis, maybe we'll manage it one day
No idea if Lampard's good enough as a manager yet. He'll come in and play the youth, which is nice.
Though I do get the feeling it could quite easily end in disaster. Think it's a huge risk for Roman/the board to take, they can hardly sack him if it isn't going well, not at least without creating a hugely toxic atmosphere around the club.
Well it's never boring at least.
Apparently Juventus expect to not have to pay any compensation. Getting truly sick to the back teeth of these sc’mbag clubs thinking they can just waltz in and take from us no questions asked.

Franks' assembled coaching staff is the one I'm eagerly anticipating, hope it's not anticlimactic.
Shame Sarri has been driven out of the club by inbreds
