Seems against what Sarri has been saying is all
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The key thing he said was being allowed to improve the squad. If I read that right then it comes down to the transfer ban.

Sarri's dishonesty gone Quitter, something he claimed to never be (couldn't take the heat).
Saying one thing publicly and doing another thing privately

Managers with repeated questionable judgement that shoot themselves in the foot don't deserve another season of backing
The future prospects of the club deserve better and that's what will happen soon enough

It's quite surprising the Chelsea board have escaped criticism in the press for allowing the club to be in a position of dissaray. It's a long list of feck ups.

Hazard contract situation
CHO contract situation
Sarri situstion
Transfer ban situation
Squad situation
Stadium situation
No strategy...

There is plenty to work with there for a Journo

"Gazzetta:
Abramovich is pushing strongly to bring in Frank Lampard. Meanwhile, there's talk of a super swap between Juventus and Inter featuring Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi. This will be a decisive month.

Corsport:
Chelsea pay off Sarri in a disguised manner."

"Repubblica on the other hand say that because Sarri's deal expires in 2021, Juve need not pay any compensation fees over his release.

GdS & Repubblica also say that Chelsea have asked Juve for time. They want to announce their new Coach at the time of releasing Sarri."

"Repubblica add that Sarri could be in Italy tomorrow and head into his vacation as a Juventus Coach.

Gazzetta ask for patience and say the next week is decisive over formalizing an established agreement over all parties as Chelsea are yet to officialize a new Coach."

Sarri is the backup choice for Juve though

They want Pep or Poch

Maybe they are happy to stop gap but that would waste Ronaldos last good years

Blarmy Sarri isn't a bad option to lay the groundwork if they think they can get Guardiola in 1 to 2 seasons.

I disagree

Only because the arent looking at transition rn based on the outlay for Ronaldo

Blanc Allegri Nuno espirito Santo (FFS)

I would suggest that the club will go with the first 2 as they are available and free

I would put money on it

Not sure which side I want to lose more tonight.

Pool winning the CL could kick start the beginning of a trophy winning era for them. Remember they haven't won a trophy since 2006 even if the media keep telling us how great they are, that's an awful stat.

On the other hand if Spurs win the CL I suspect that we'll never hear the end of it. I don't think it would necessarily mean that their future is any brighter. As soon as Poch goes to Utd they won't be getting to CL Finals again I suspect.

Yup was just going to add that correction having double checked. You beat me to it.

Still a really poor record. One league cup trophy since 2006 and they're the bee's knees according to the media.

Wigan and Portsmouth have done better than Liverpool in terms of trophies in that time.

Nuno is a fairly exciting prospect. Not necessarily right for us. We'll probably end up with Allegri after the club bottle getting Lamps. Can't say Allegri particular excites me though given our current circumstances. We need a different approach. Lamps+Morris
