Antonio Conte admits N'Golo Kante is among the greatest players he's worked with.

Conte rates the France midfielder as the best he had in his two seasons with Chelsea.

The Italian said, "I had so many very good players at Chelsea but if I have to suggest one I say Kante.

"He is a special player, he always has a smile and he is always reliable.

"He is fantastic."

Chelsea are hoping to win their appeal with the TAS which would allow them to replace the outgoing players starting with Eden Hazard. To replace Hazard, the Blues are looking to Philippe Coutinho whom Barcelona are currently asking €150m. (via @DavidAmoyal/@DiMarzio)

"Ancelotti has called James Rodríguez and convinced him to reunite with him at Napoli. Negotiations with Real are ongoing, but the Los Blancos want around €40M for the Colombian midfielder."

If we suspend the transfer ban to buy Coutinho, we deserve everything we get over the next few seasons.

"we" suspend it...have we got that power

Rather stick with the transfer ban.

Me too. This is why we really need a good Sporting Director and a proper structure at the club to save us from shet transfers like this one.

Poor decision imo. Would have been a much better option from the bench. Unless he's been absolutely brilliant in training or something like that. Doubt it though, he's notorious for needing games before coming back to his best. Expect him to be sluggish tonight if starting.

I think Spurs will win.

Will be funny if Liverpool end up trophyless. I’m really hoping Liverpool win it though.

Why the negativity towards signing Coutinho?

Way over priced. Some others just don’t rate him.

Biggish because (a) he's been a bad player now for 18 months and (b) even at his best, he's a difficult player to build a title winning team around (much like Mata).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not worried about him not working out for Barca. That has happened before to players at certain clubs, in different leagues. And we don't have to sign a player to build around... Who are Liverpool built around?

The only neg is price. He would be good signing otherwise.
