I think Spurs will win.

Will be funny if Liverpool end up trophyless. I’m really hoping Liverpool win it though.

Supporting Spurs, but expect a comfortable Liverpool win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I suspect it could be a battering, especially if Spurs players turn up like rabbits in headlights as I suspect they will.

Kane starting is ominous from a Spurs perspective. Not a good decision. Feel that Poch is just covering himself here because if Kane doesn't start and Spurs lose then people would ask why he didn't start Kane. This way he doesn't have to answer that but it's not the correct decision imo.

Anyway who cares, fook both these teams.

Spurs: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Dele, Son, Kane.

Could be wrong but I think that Spurs team lacks the pace needed to beat Liverpool. Eirkesen Alli and Kane are all so slow.

Exactly.

It's a cop out decision by Poch. He should have been braver and started Moura with Kane on the bench.

God this place is a hot bed of negativity. We won a trophy 3 days ago!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Trophy smokescreen though. There is no get away from the fact that we are in trouble and poorly run by the board.

Biggish to get the best out of Coutinho, you kind of do have to build around him. He needs a free role to drift and create. He is much less effective when asked to play a defined role. And I don't think he's good enough to justify being granted a free role. I'd much rather we targeted players who have the potential to be better than Coutinho or can perform in a system.

Part of Liverpool's current success is that they operate as a complete 11 man unit with everyone (apart from Salah at times) expected to press and defend. It isn't surprising to me that Coutinho leaving has helped them become a much better team defensively.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think the lack of inspiration in their midfield has cost them the league. If you go back and look at the four draws in six games that lost them the league the lack of chances they created was staggering. And their midfield is so samey.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree it's their weakest area but they scored plenty in the season and got 97 points. I think the only reason they are not Champions is purely down to the genius of Pep and the spending power of City.

I would rather be poorly run with 16 trophies in 16 years than be well run and potless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But the poorly run is more recent and our decline as a top club is gathering momentum.

meh you have to play your best player especially in what is likely the one game of a lifetime for spurs (fkin hope so)

Everybody on here would want even a half fit Hazard to have played in a similar scenario, talking BS if you wouldn't
