I can take that if I see acorns sprouting into life, I think most older fans that weren't bought up on success can.
It's the younger generation that didn't grow up in the dark days who will feel a bad dip more!

I don't think that luck has anything to do with it. We have some top players on our books, we just need the right people in charge to identify and play them in a workable system. Can't be that difficult.
I don’t think we will make top 4 next season. Then the season after that is all about trying to get top 4. Gonna be a long time until we challenge for the title again.
If Sarri was still here, I think we might still compete for top 4 because the majority of the squad would have had more time learning his football.
But with Lampard or whoever coming in we lose our best player and change the manager and all that entails. Probably in for a pretty dire year.
The world doesn't have to end just because Hazard is leaving, Gazza. No player is forever.

Going to be a a bit gut wrenching to see Hazard wearing the parasites shirt soon!
Any other foreign team I could have took but seeing him in that shirt will be up there with seeing him in a Liverpool shirt.

I still hope we have a clear out, I think Drinkwater, Zappacosta, Batshooey and Alonso can all be disposed of without affecting the squad effectiveness.
I'd like to see Barkley go as well but that would leave us a bit thin on the ground in midfield, assuming Kovacic leaves.

Of course not 50% but our team aren’t very good mate lol. I’m resigned to the fact. We’ve lost the best player in the league who carried us despite a change of tactics 5/6 times over the last few years.
Hazard better be prepared to be scrutinised in Spain, if he's not hitting close to the numbers of Messi or challenging Barcelona.
