I wouldn't have such a problem with Jose either.
He probably was the wrong manager to bring in for his second time round. But this time we would be working from scratch. It might be even a good opportunity for him to prove he isn't a check book manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same as above
If the board appointed Jose with long term realistic objectives and Jose agreed and the board publicly agreed then fair enough
However I think Jose's bridges are burnt at chelsea
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah true.
I am growing to like Mourinho as a pundit tbh. I do wish him well. I didn't rate him very highly during his second stint, but he will always be cherished for his first!
I think right now in his career he needs a new challenge. So I would actually quite like him to take up a smaller job; he is a great manager, just doesn't suit managing modern day footballing super stars.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Could/should definitely try international footy. By all accounts less stress than club management and even getting a team to a quarter of semi finals is usually seem positively

Welcome. Waiting for official club confirmation.
I am horrified that we would consider having Jose back. It won't happen and thank goodness it won't.

Would probably signal the lowest ive felt about a managerial decision since he first left oddly enough.

Ditto...... Ironic is it not?
Actually hope it is Frank now
At least there would be a feel good feeling at the club with him and hopefully Jody back

It's ridiculously surreal how far his stock has fallen.
I never envisioned ever getting to a point where i would prefer Lampard managing us let alone already, i honestly believed upto 15/16 Mou was going to remain a top level manager till retirement.
Is Lampard experienced enough to coach a player to their full potential? Say for example Pulisic, 20 years old, with the right coaching I think he has the tools to become a top player, is Lamps capable of moulding players like that?
Morris we know can develop young players but can he polish them into the finished article? Neither of them really have experience of doing that.
Guess we’ll see. Would be shame though if some of our players’ potential goes to waste because Lampard and Morris aren’t quite ready for this level of management.

The annoying thing is Sarri was perfect for a player like Pulisic.
Yep I really expected Sarri to make something great out of Pulisic

Onter are on the verge of signing #Cagliari ’s €50m rated midfielder Nicolò Barella and could finalise the deal on Monday:

Would have also been nice to see Sarri continue to improve RLC and CHO.
"Conte wants Inter Milan to sign Davide Zappacosta ahead of PSG's Thomas Meunier."
Make it happen, Chelsea.

I reckon Foden would have wanted to come here for a fair crack and England call up had Sarri stayed given how mismanaged he's been last year compared to his peers.
"Chelsea are considering making a long-term managerial appointment, such as Frank Lampard.
Chelsea are also close to reaching an agreement for Petr Cech to return to the club in their technical department, reporting to director Marina Granovskaia."
Go on Chelsea, make it quick
I do feel lamps is a better shout than someone with no real experience of English football
Allegri is probably experienced enough that this doesnt matter but not so sure about Ten Hag
Pulisic, RLC, CHO, Reece James etc would become superstars under Sarri. Hopefully they can still reach their full potential.

Minus Tomori, T-Flo.
Mount would probably progress massively under Sarri as well. But Lampard is pretty much the perfect person to guide that type of player so I’m not too concerned there

My list would be:
Erik Ten Hag
Frank Lampard
Leonardo Jardim
Steve Holland
Marcelo Bielsa
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s a shame Monaco were so bad Jardim ended up going back. He’d have a pick of top clubs to choose from this summer and he’d be one of my top choices. Although Monaco form not really much better after he came back
