Oh dear. Completely outplayed. They won every challenge and didn't give us any room to play
So what do you think AVB has to do tactically to prevent that from happening again, at least to that extent?
Oh and our defence was carved open far too easily for both goals
I also watched it on CTV CSTP. Malouda and Lampard are so slow on the ball it's unbeleivable, they are unable to do one-two's and all they have to do is return the pass. And Bosingwa gets on the ball so much yet can never seem to make anything happen
All our attacks that did put the ball in the box came from Cole on the left
And his crossing was poor
I think I only saw Sturridge touch the ball about 3 times
What basically seemed to always happen was
We pass it really slowly across the back under no pressure
Then after crossing the halfway line the pressing is immense and one heavy touch/most dribbles lose possession
But when they had the ball they seemed to have much more freedom
Pienaar gave Bosingwa a roasting
Torres with one touch inside the box if I'm right
One header from about 15 yards out. No power
In a way it reminded me of playing on FIFA 12 against the AI on legendary difficulty
Sturridge didn't see much of the ball, was hiding on the wing but wasn't as bad as othrers
