Not necessarily, Lamps could develop into one of the very best managers out there over the next few years. He has all the attributes and his short career so far has been very impressive. Simeone's Atelico have been crap this season. Maybe his powers are on the wane.

Really hope so Nick. Would be so typical of this mess of a club though. Just when we're building something positive with these young players that have all signed contracts on the basis that Lamps will be here for the foreseeable future and allowed to build something.

Some posters on here have genuinly tried to engage with him and he just ignores them. I find that the most frustrating thing about him tbh. I was quite happy to have purely a banter relationship with him, as i give as good as i get, but he is rude to the polite posters on here too and jjust won't engage with them either.

lol it really would be, but looks like they're backing him with ziyech and stuff.

again shows the dissapointment which is echoed by most our fan base of, okay we may not have predicted we'd get CL, but looking at how poor the other teams have been, and a generally poor league quality this year, we should be about 10 points ahead of 5th place.

But we've discussed that no end.
If we lose tonight and saturday or only get say 1 point, alarm bells will start ringing with the board. we don't want that.
Need good results, not necessarily performances this month.

Yeah hopefully the Ziyech signing is a signing for Lamps although it could be any manager as he's a top class player. I've been buzzing all weekend still over that signing.

We definitely need to string some results together. As you say I wish Pulisic was back as he gives us something extra that the others don't.

We are faced with the same questions...where are our goals coming from?

We're quite easy to play against tbh. There's no secret, a lot of teams have had success playing counter attacking football vs us.
