Quarantine and chill

managed to get what i needed from aldi this morning. Opened at 10 am had to queue for half hour, 300 deep in the queue and that was just the front side

the domino effect is what does the damage. Only a minority of morons bulk buy however that then leads the people who wouldn't usually bulk buy to think $hit i'm going to have to bulk buy otherwise i won't get it, so they thus bulk buy and so on

Like i usually buy food every other 2 days for dinner, but today i bought a weeks food cos i know i won't be able to get anything if i go back in 2 days or will have to queue up again. It's fkin dumb

london lockdown will be announced tomorrow. other parts of country assess day by day. London is the hotspot at the moment

we really need to start seeing some progress from italy

My brother got stopped by a cop a couple of days ago. He walking his dog 100 yards from his front door and got sent back saying he was straying too far.

Our armed forces consist of 78000 troops so that might work as a deterrent for one or two cities but not a whole country

Also what if there are no eggs at your supermarket so you walk three miles to the next one? Is that allowed?

I mean, there is going to have be a lot of self policing for a lockdown to work

When you say lockdown was does that mean specifically? I keep hearing it bandied around over the past two days with no details on what that will mean to all of us on a daily level...

The police dont have the capabilities to patrol every road in the country, they have barely enough manpower to close down one city regardless of their legal powers.

I highly doibt we will be stopped from buying food, getting medicine, or going for solitary walks/exercise. Even in Spain you are allowed to take the dog out.

Hasn't the government repeatedly said there will be no lockdown or at least a full lockdown

Going to work tomorrow...as usual...played golf today, & playing saturday in a competition

Think i'm in for a shock if we go to lockdown

hopefuly not a false dawn like earlier in the week was but out of 8,000 more tests (i say only lightly i just mean in comparison) only 643 new cases. Bare in mind yesterday was about 700 new cases from 6,000 cases

death rate still highly increasing though which is a khunt, 144 deaths now. only had 214 from swine flu

144 deaths out of 70,000,000 = End of society
