My preference would be zoomer silva Rudy

Wonder how Lampard feels knowing if he loses today it’ll be his last game.

The reason I like Azpi there is that as an expetienced full back he will read the danger early at RCB and can communicate danger to James early too.

Also playing as RCB in 3 5 2 makes ihis slower pace a bit less of an issue.

I don't think it will be his last game if we lose today.

Unless we get absulutely smashed, then it could be.

Last game would be a follow up loss to Wolves, I'd hope

yep...always been the case I think, but much as he's been brilliant for us, we need to recognise reality...& that he's not up to it

If we lose 3-1 again he could be under serious trouble
If it’s a scrappy 1-0 he’ll get more time

Not saying Rudi is the answer either in either a 3 or 4...but he'd be my preference

When Frank goes I wonder what will happen to a Tammy and Mount. And to a lesser extent Gilmour.

I don’t think a new manager would feel too differently about CHO or James. But Tammy and Mount are players Lampard has shown a lot of faith in. They might end up playing a lot less and leaving soon after.

Ironically I remember people saying this exact same thing about Lampard himself. For example when we bought Veron so many were convinced Lamps was done at Chelsea. Same thing when we bought Ballack. Neither displaced Lampard in the side though and the rest is history.

And Mount is a top player in his own right and an England international now. Most managers would love to have him in their squad I'm sure.
