Disappointed for Chilwell. Even at 4-0 Southgate brought on a right back to replace Shaw for the last 25 mins instead of Chilwell. There’s no chance he will get onto the field in the semi-final or final (if we get there).

Yeah bit of a disgraceful way to treat Chilly. Even weirder because Chilwell was often the first choice LB under Southgate even before he joined Chelsea. Somehow winning the CL has weakened his spot in the squad lol

Shaw starting ahead of him isn’t the problem, it’s bringing a RB on at LB ahead of him that’s the problem. It’s so unnecessary, Chilly isn’t so incompetent that they need Trippier to keep the defence secure lol
