Since when were vaccines such a big deal. We’ve been getting them all our lives yet suddenly they’re instruments of the devil

Could be something to do with the fact that this is the first vaccine in human history released to the public without the required 5-10 years of testing prior. Or the the fact that it's the first vaccine in human history where nobody is allowed to sue the vaccine companies or hold them accountable in any way should you get any side effects from taking it. Or the fact that there have been cases of side effects and deaths after taking it that aren't getting reported in mainstream news. Or the fact that for the first time in human history in many places they're basically forcing people to take the vaccine. Despite the fact that it doesn't even stop you getting Covid or spreading it to others anyway.
Dunno, just a thought. Nothing to see here though I guess.

To be fair RSV is more worrying than COVID now anyway
Kante is a big loss however RLC has been playing well lately
Juve have won their last 2 games 3-2

The vaccine doesn't stop you getting Covid and it doesn't stop you spreading Covid if you get it. If people want to take the vaccine that's fine but it should be a personal choice as taking the vaccine carries it's own risks anyway. It should never be forced on anyone like they're now doing in so many places.

It does drastically reduce your likelihood of either being very ill or dying though...& it certainly minimises your personal burden on the NHS

This isn't the plague so most people that get Covid either have very mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. And the actual death rate for people that get Covid is relatively tiny.

The reason the death rate is a lot less now is essentially the vaccine...no other reason
As an example...if you were waiting for an operation or cancer treatment, & you were told that no appointment or bed was available because of having to treat un vaccinated people with covid that decided their precious freedom of choice was more important...how would you feel
