Juve have been poor so far this season but don't discount them turning up tonight and giving us a really tough game. Aside from Morshata they have some top attacking players like Chiesa and Dybala.

Dybala is out too

We shouldn't be worried about either of these games

They'll never admit it (cos we're nothing to them... blar blar) but us becoming a bigger club has massively overestimated their opinion of their clubs importance in the big picture.

Spurs are a big club, but they're not a monster club & never have been. But part of their identity for so long has been knowing they're the 2nd biggest club in London & in less than 20 years we've taken that away from them beyond all doubt.

Being a top 6-10 club in England? That's kind of always been their place, the Redknapp & Pochettino eras were mini golden ones, not what they've always been.

Well much of their entire clubs historic basis heavily rests on the double in 61

If you see their wiki bit for honours

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C.#Honours

There is this weird thing where the editors(im gonna presume at least one is a fan) have put a 'D' next to the honours from the double year to remind the reader its A DOUBLE

Compare to us, Pool & Utd's honours section:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_United_F.C.#Honours
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_F.C.#Honours
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelsea_F.C.#Honours

We've all won domestic doubles and the page editors havent done that for us

I'll tell you how big Spurs are...a bit bigger than Newcastle....

First team to win the double though is significant, no-one can ever take that away from them. Also, I think this is right, first English team to win a European trophy?

They are a relevant historical club in this country. They're just not the massive club they seem to think they are or should be by right.

Yeah I agree DA. It's kind of fascinating that they think they have some kind of divine right to be a massive club. From their incredible new stadium to their fans which in fairness they have a lot of for some reason. Even though their success in terms of trophies is so sparse. There's no other club in world football that quite compares to that. Newcastle to a lesser extent I guess.

The stadium is the one good reason they have to expect more. Being an average team in a massive stadium is a little to West Ham for anyone's liking

It's a weird fit isn't it although they do have the fans to fill it. Whether that will always be the case remains to be seen. Not good having a stadium that's too big for it's fan base.

Juve have no striker on the pitch

Chiesa probably their main threat
