I’ll feel better better if we’re top of the league going into the next international break

How do? Looks the same to me. Can drive past a player but usually ends up doing nothing with it. Flatters to deceive.
I dunno, maybe. He’s Atleast tried the last two games which helps! And kovacic low key had a good second half. Wouldn’t mind seeing that combo
To be fair, aren't you normally an adherent to the eye test over stats?
I don't fancy an extensive row over Havertz, it's up to him to vindicate the value and trust placed in him. If he fails that's his fault.
Personally, I think he offers a lot when in form, and I was highly encouraged before the last international break.
Maybe we’ll do a City from last season and have a sluggish start followed by wrecking everyone
I like jorgino, great off the ball, good leader, tactical mind. But does anyone wish he just had a great passer in thst position. Someone to move the ball on quickly like Fabinho and play an array of passes? Feel that’s something we miss

Didn’t think I was rowing…
"Against arsenal I don’t remember him doing anything."
His pass to Alonso for the second goal is probably the best bit of individual play I have seen from any Chelsea player this season - apart from his goal v Liverpool, actually.

I can't row, it's too knackering. Also water is a relentless factor psychologically, it's so much harder to assess your progress compared to say running on flat ground.
Jorginho and Mount both players suffering from the euros imo.
Not touched near their last season form.

Christ calm down lol. Kovacic for lukaku immediately sticks out as better. Was a nice bit of play though
We don’t seem to have players a.) to beat a man or b.) to play defence splitting balls.
The only one who can is mount really and he’s no hazard
Not sure why Mount is getting such intense criticism, he was pretty good prior to the last international break. We have collectively been below-par since then. Mount getting dug out is strange considering recent showings have proved how important him playing well is for our success.

I forgot about that pass to be fair
I'd probably rank it as follows:
1) Havertz header
2) Kovacic pass to Lukaku
3) Havertz pass to Alonso
4) Mount volley-Cruyff turn vs Liverpool
5) Various Mendy saves (had to make more than i wished for)

a) Theoretically CHO and Pulisic but one is made of fibreglass and the other is only good in CMF's head
b) Silva and Rudiger are very good at this, but I agree we lack this in midfield. A peak level Fabregas would be very helpful tbh.
If Pulisic could stay fit he would get a bit of form and he can be lethal both finishing and dribbling.
We of course need Mount back as well.
But the squad we have shouldn’t be so reliant on one or two players. Need to get more out of the rest

Yeah I don’t get it either. I thought he was good against Liverpool aswell until the red card. And you know he will always work hard. The guys never been a finisher
Mount's final ball on counters can be maddening but we also look toothless up top without him.
The only issue I can find with Mount is his finishing. Everything else is at the very least good enough
Ziyech is especially pointless
Don’t know how Ziyech can be so useless when he was so good at Ajax even against top sides
Hope he turns the corner but if it doesn’t happen this season we should replace him
I thought he was a banker signing
Yeah he was the one I was most confident about at the time lol.
Same, he was the one I was most confident about. Absolute baller at Ajax
