BK was asking this morning about the CHO pass, if it was a handball. Cmf inevitably delivered the goods and well...it's actually ridiculously blatant

not one replay shown afterwards to point that out and not even reviewed by VAR. That should have been a penalty and red card. There's no counterargument for that. People talk about not understanding the handball rules any more, but that's as clear cut as it gets.
CHO now gets a 2/10 from me for yesterday's performance rather than a 1/10.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s really poor from refereeing/VAR team..
So they missed a handball, penalty and blew the whistle too early for a 'foul' by Mount. Good job Mike Dean and co
There is no break clause in Emerson Palmieri's loan deal at Lyon. The French club have an option to buy the Chelsea wing-back as they rejected an initial approach for a recall.
Will have to get Digne or someone then
if Brighton had taken their chances earlier or something I wouldn't even be mad about the result. But those decisions against us are much harder to accept.
I swear CHO/Mount didn't even appeal for the handball in that replay. If they make more of a fuss about it and surround the ref like other teams do, maybe then it goes to VAR?
Likewise, Mount for that suspected foul. He didn't really complain about the decision, just laughed and moved on.
A lot of ref's I reckon are influenced by player reactions because they're too blind to see anything in normal play. So maybe our lot should kick up more of a fuss
Clear penalty and red card. How on earth does VAR miss that?
Werner still suffering from covid, damn
So some people are saying it wasn’t a handball because it comes off his leg first. But I don’t really buy that argument because his arm takes a big downward swing to block the ball, preventing it from reaching Mount.
And James was sent off against Liverpool even though the ball also took a deflection from his body first.

Anyone disagree that both Pulisic and Cho need to be moved on this summer ? If so I'd like to know their reasons. Purely from an interesting football perspective in case I'm missing something with them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've made my position very clear on these two players
We have levels of lightweight players in our squad... These two are at the highest level
Then you have Ziyech Barkley Rubes at the second level
Then you have players like Alonso but just need moving on
I do like Ziyech and havertz when he's playing well... But they are never go to be guaranteed starters...Werner I just can't decide... He's probably second level lightweight
Too many games and draws is killing CFC.
We do have fairly average players also.
We basically lack grit anywhere in front of Kante
Except maybe Rom, who has shown some in the last games for sure
We always had players who would get stuck in, now most won't even go in for a 60/40 ball, the amount of times I have seen Kai pull out of any sort of challenge that might mess his hair up.......
The reason I would say keep CHO and Puli is they are both extremely young
The one apart from the dead wood I would sell is Ziyech (again can't get over how old he is) unless he has an amazing 2nd half of this season.
The rest for me have shown enough or glimpses and have age on their side
With Chilly out our most important player to get back fit is Werner, he is basically our most creative player these days - however we should consider offers for most our front players

Bet we beat Liverpool now as that is how we roll.
Breaking: There are concerns Reece James has suffered a hamstring tear rather than a strain - a scenario that could result in months rather than weeks on the sidelines
And it gets worse

I would certainly keep Hudson-Odoi for another season.
He remains a frustrating player but he is still 21, is contributing more in matches and some of our best team performances under TT this season such as Leicester and Juventus involved him as a significant factor.
He has also done far more - imo - with his gametime this season than Ziyech or Werner, even if I accept he has had some stinkers like yesterday.
Another factor is we probably need to buy an entire new backline and a long-term Kante replacement next summer so we have to prioritise where to sell and buy.
Pulisic would also get one more year to see if he can recapture his high peak levels.
Ziyech and Werner would be straight in the bin though.
Werner has been unlucky this season. Wasn’t given many chances at the start and probably would have been helpful if not for the injury and covid.
