The new guy that we signed from Santos doesn’t have the best stats for an attacking player. 5 goals in 129 appearances. Crazy that he’s made that many appearances at the age of just 18.

My only fear from the window so far is that we might buy Caicedo and have him turn into another expensive lead weight. And that fear is derived solely from watching expensive players flounder.

It's a realistic fear that we overpay for Caicedo purely because we are desperately short of midfield players.

yep, which I why I think we should throw our hat in for lavia and maybe someone else (i'll let the experts on here say who) just so as brighton know we can go elsewhere.

Failing that stick with what we got and give these kids a chance.

Kova/Kante were injury ridden anyway.

I'd prefer to have Konè and Veiga instead of Caicedo.

No, but this ownership is the other extreme end of the spectrum, neither are a formula for success.

ENIC are like deadbeat parents. No care, minimal attention, and value themselves over their kid. These guys come across like overbearing helicopter parents. No-one can question the love is there, but ultimately it's still all about them & the kid turns into a basket case.

The only true way to test if they've learnt their lessons from last season will be, hypothetically, if Pochettino does well - they take a step back & only make necessary changes. Next time they fork out 300mil do it because it's needed, not for some vane "we're just getting started" rubbish (quote after we signed Enzo). Roman was good at that once he'd got the CL obsession out of his system.

Fofana starting to look like the sick note most of us predicted before he signed.

Won't be surprised if Sterling actually ends up being the best signing from that summer transfer window.

On the positive side... Looks like Poch is already stamping his image on the side (fitness-wise).
